Bastradan (Gifting Dress during festivals & Warm clothes/ blankets during Winter season)
During festive seasons, Chandannagar Ispat Sangha distributes new clothes to underprivileged families, ensuring they can partake in celebrations with dignity. In winter, they provide warm clothing and blankets to the homeless and needy, protecting them from harsh weather conditions. During the Durga Puja festival every year new garments are distributed among more than two hundred people from the financially weaker section. Similarly, each year during the winter, blankets are distributed among more than hundred people.
This initiative addresses both physical and emotional needs, spreading joy and comfort to marginalized communities. The organization collaborates with donors and volunteers to maximize the reach of these efforts, symbolizing compassion and shared humanity. By bringing smiles to those in need, Chandannagar Ispat Sangha fosters inclusivity and reinforces the spirit of giving during special occasions.
